Material and technical base

The pride of the Department is the presence of its own educational restaurant and educational and scientific production centers:

  • for the production of public catering products,
  • for meat processing
  • milk processing

Training in the centers allows you to acquire practical skills in food production.

Laboratories of the Department, equipped with modern devices for determining the main food substances – proteins, fats, carbohydrates, minerals and vitamins, allow you to acquire the skills of a researcher. This is:

  • Laboratory «Quality control and assessment of raw materials and finished products»
  • Laboratory «Technologies of meat and meat products»
  • Laboratory «Technologies of milk and dairy products»
  • Laboratory «Technology of production of animal products»

To perform research work of students, undergraduates, doctoral students, laboratories of the Department are equipped with modern equipment and the latest devices.
